Lewis Kirkbride took up the Hereward Charity Challenge to walk the Hereward Way from Peterborough to Ely across the Fens to raise funds for charity.

The Very Reverend Chris Dalliston, Dean of Peterborough, hands over the gold and silver to Hereward and his Band in the form of a silver trophy, marking the start of the inaugural Hereward Charity Challenge on June 2nd 2021, 951 years to the date that Hereward ransacked the monastery at Peterborough.

June 2nd, almost 7pm, the Hereward Charity Challenge hikers reached the halfway point at March.
Hereward and his Band make it to Ely to meet the Dean, who will receive the Hereward Charity Challenge Trophy.
